Portsmouth residents may obtain a vehicle sticker for easier access to the Recycling Center. Residents may apply for the stickers - free of charge - at the Recycling Center on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 7:45 to 3:15 p.m. Resident stickers are also available at the Department of Public Works.

RECYCLE CENTER DROP OFF Instructions

• Choose an item on the drop-down list, below.  ONLY ITEMS ON THE LIST HAVE A FEE.
• If you have an item not listed it may not have a fee to dispose.  Please call to inquire.
• Add each item you are bringing into the Recycle Center to your cart and check out.
• PRINT CONFIRMATION TO BRING WITH YOUR ITEM TO THE RECYCLE CENTER WHEN YOU DROP IT OFF.

BULKY WASTE PICKUP 

• If you have an item not listed it may not have a disposal fee.  Please call to inquire.  A $5.00 fee will be added IN ADDITION to any fee for item disposal.    
• Please call (603) 427-1530 to schedule a pick-up after payment is processed.  We will not pick up items that are not on our scheduled pick-up list.
• The Public Works Department will collect specific material on the designated weeks of the month.
• Place the specified material(s) curbside no earlier than 7:00 p.m. the evening before the scheduled pick-up date and no later than 7:00 a.m. on the date of pickup.

YOU WILL BE CHARGED A ONE-TIME $5.00 FEE PER SCHEDULED PICKUP

Select "I agree to call and schedule this pickup" for $5.00 on your FIRST item

Select "Agreed on item already in cart" on EACH ADDITIONAL ITEM,
so you are not overcharged.
